Mercore Ventures is looking for an exceptional Founding Business Development & Operations Manager to work directly with the Founder as we build a diversified business group from the ground up.

This is not a traditional management role.

It is an opportunity to help shape the future of a business with interests spanning business advisory, hospitality, distribution & trading, and future growth ventures.

What You'll Do

As one of Mercore Ventures' founding leaders, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape our growth, build strategic partnerships and help establish an executive advisory firm with international ambitions across the UK, Middle East and Africa,  you'll play a key role in helping us build the business by:

• Driving business development and client acquisition
• Building strategic partnerships
• Establishing operational processes and reporting frameworks
• Supporting business planning and growth strategy
• Coordinating strategic projects across multiple business ventures
• Helping build the Mercore brand and market presence

You'll work directly with the Founder and have the opportunity to influence decisions that shape the future of the business.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

• Entrepreneurial and commercially minded 
• Highly organised with strong execution capability 
• Comfortable working independently      
• Resourceful, proactive and resilient 
• Excellent at building relationships and communicating with stakeholders 
• Passionate about helping businesses grow 

Experience

• 5–10 years' professional experience 
• Background in Business Development, Operations, Consulting or Commercial Management 
• Experience working in startups, SMEs or high-growth businesses is highly desirable 
• Experience across consulting, hospitality, retail, distribution or professional services would be an advantage
